Starting School
During term 4 of each year, Ingleburn Public School invites our future Kindergarten students to participate in our highly successful orientation program. This program has been specifically designed to develop the self confidence of our future students by building on the necessary foundation skills to ensure a smooth transition to school.
Kindergarten Orientation sessions are an excellent opportunity for your child to familiarise themselves with the school environment and classrooms. Your child will also meet other Kindergarten students in a relaxed atmosphere and will participate in a variety of carefully planned activities. Each activity is designed to provide our highly skilled teachers with valuable information about your child.
This year our Kindergarten Orientation Program will take place on the following dates;
Parent Information Session - Tuesday 10th November 2009, 6.30pm in the school hall.
Student Visit 1 – Tuesday 17th November 2009, 9.15 to 10.45am in the school hall.
Student Visit 2 – Tuesday 24th November 2009, 9.15 to 10.45am in the school hall.
Student Visit 3 – Tuesday 1st December 2009, 9.15 to 10.45am in the school hall.
Each visit of our Kindergarten Orientation Program is extremely important. We encourage children to attend each session of the program. Children become more comfortable in the school setting as the program progresses, and as a result our teachers are able to bond with your child and gain a detailed insight of the skills your child brings to school.
In order to assist us with our planning we would appreciate if you could complete the following forms and return them to the school as soon as possible.

Please take the time to read each of these booklets as they include important information about the transition to school process.
On Monday 30 January students in Year 1-6 returned to school. Kindergarten students will commence at 9.30am on Friday 3 Feburary in the hall.
The staff of Ingleburn Public School would like to welcome back returning students and extend a special welcome to all new students and families.
